I'm trying to use in RedHat Linux 8.0 (kernel version 2.4.18-14) an USB ISDN Terminal Adapter with Winbond 6694 chipset inside (the manufacturer is "Mentor"). I've tried with ACM module but it doesn't work. After loading the module (with modprobe), in /bus/usb/devices I can see that the chip is recognized but the driver is not loaded (there are two string with "Driver=(none)"). Also with command "lsmod" the acm module is "unused". Can someone help me? I'm not a Linux-expert user. Thanks a lot.
