dear all, i have installed debian 3.0r1 on my ibm thinkpad i1200, and all works fine...the only thing which fails everytime is the use of my usb floppy drive.
i compiled a kernel 2.4.17 with usb and hotplugging support. the mass-storage and uhci drivers were loaded as modules. if i try to install the hotplug-packets for debian now, the whole system hangs up. can someone describe, how this could work? thanks, sigi -- +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ Bitte lcheln!
