Hmm. Even completely shutting the computer down after using windoze produced the same result, ie, no USB devices the first time around. Its quite annoying to have to boot twice to get my USB to work right. Note however that I can ctl-alt-del as bios is scanning for a bootable floppy, etc, so that I don't have to do the entire boot process. However, a better solution should definately be had. -jackp

Notice that when you reboot after Windows, you don't get a memory count, while when you reboot after Linux you do. That means Linux is forcing a cold boot, while Windows is doing a warm boot. Instead of telling Windows to restart during shutdown or doing a ctrl-alt-del, try using your reset button.
