Ok, I've got a NEC as I told you in private email. I'm using the bk-2.4 version of the driver, and I loaded ehci-hcd Now, when I plug the USB1.1 hubs in, I get this: Mar 5 14:51:45 localhost kernel: ehci-hcd 02:02.2: port 4 full speed --> companion Mar 5 14:51:45 localhost kernel: ehci-hcd 02:02.2: GetStatus port 4 status 003801 POWER OWNER sig=j CONNECT Mar 5 14:51:45 localhost kernel: hub.c: port 4, portstatus 0, change 10, 12 Mb/s Mar 5 14:51:45 localhost kernel: ehci-hcd.c: 02:02.2: free_config devnum 0 As I understand, ehci wants to hand over the management of this device to a uhci companion driver. But it seems there's only ehci-hcd in the 2.4 version. Does that mean 2.5 is needed to use USB1 devices on a USB2 HC, or did I forget something in .config ? ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
