The USB version should be fine - if your computer has a USB card of course!

Some people have problems with the speedtouch 330 modem.
Other people have problems coming from USB in general not
working well.  Most people have no problems and get the
advertised download speed (various speeds are possible,
the ISP provider limits it to make sure you don't get more than
what you paid for).
