I am now using 2.4.21-pre5-ac3 and after the first boot I turned on the case and devfsd registered the device perfectly and I was able to mount a CD but after another reboot we are back to the same problem where devfsd doesn't register the device. How do I go about adding a device node myself? I need a char-major/minor number or something right? -- Anders -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.12 GCS/O d--@ s:+ a-- C++ $UL+++ P++ L+++ E- W+ N(+) o K? w O- M-- V PS+ PE@ Y+ PGP+ t 5 X R+ tv+ b+ DI+++ D+ G e- h !r y? ------END GEEK CODE BLOCK------ PGPKey: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x8BFECB41 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by:Crypto Challenge is now open!
