I have the following device that I am trying to make work with Linux. It is a SmartDisk combo CF/SM card reader/writer, model VFMR. here is the /proc/bus/usb/devices output relevant to the device:
T: Bus=03 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=01 Cnt=01 Dev#= 4 Spd=12 MxCh= 0 D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=ff MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=0917 ProdID=0001 Rev= 0.83 S: Manufacturer=SmartDisk Corp. S: Product=SM/CF Combo USB Reader C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=500mA I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=ff Driver=usbdevfs E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
Can anyone tell me what configuration I need to put into unusual_devs.h for the usb-storage module or explain to me how to find out that information? I would greatly appreciate it.
Many thanks in advance, Russ
