Hi,

Having fought for a week I still cannot get it working: I am trying to connect to my intern HDD via ide-usb adaptor. when connecting WHILE running (debian/unstable) the device is reported to be connected (dmesg) but I cant mount it. When REBOOTING with the device connected the bootup freezes right after reporting SCSI emulation for usb-storage. I checked also with knoppix - it hangs too upon it. Please note, that I can mount my digital camera (compact flash card) that way, thru the same usb port.

I tried both with hotplug and usbmgr.

What am I screwing up?

thanks
Dominik
