Hi, I'm trying to connect my HP Jornada 568 to my Debian (unstable) desktop. I've configured my kernel to include USB support but am unable to get the desktop to recognise my pda.
I've found this article, http://tinyurl.com/d1mm , which suggests that I need to include the ipaq.o module into the kernel. However the author of the article still has problems. Here is the current state of play: # lsmod Module Size Used by Not tainted ipx 15364 2 (autoclean) hid 14596 0 (unused) usbcore 55232 1 [hid] es1371 26600 0 soundcore 3428 4 [es1371] ac97_codec 9992 0 [es1371] 8139too 15272 1 mii 2272 0 [8139too] # lsusb # My questions are: do I need to include the ipaq.o module (I presume yes). What do I do next to get this working?
