The system logfile presents nothing new or useful and my
/proc/bus/usb/devices is the same before i load the firmware and after i
load it. In other words, there is no way (that I can tell) to figure out
what the postfirmware product id might be! How frustrating. It is bad
enough that the linux drivers are hardcoded to 1110:9010 and that (for some
uknown reason) the box sent to me advertises itself as 1110:9022!

Do you suppose there is a way in Windows (I have a dualboot laptop) to find
out what the postfirmware product id is? I've rooted around, but couldn't
find anything offhand.

Anyway, thanks for your help. Keep me informed if you find something!

Ah, you must be on the list too. I didn't know the protocal for such things
and my French-speaking girlfriend refused to render the text properly
forcing me to hit babelfish :P. Anyway, should I resend it? Is the French
that terrible?
