Hmm.. I am not sure what you are thinking about... How can I detect the
type of USB on my motherboard? (It is likely 1.1 or even 1.0)

Oh, yes. It is 2.4.18 and I compiled it with the usb-uhci driver. Now I
see, I should get a more recent one... and maybe usb-ehci?
