Thanks for your comments, I've just noticed the the Howto I am following is 
yours, thanks again for that effort. But with bigh unfortunate, I didn't 
manage to get it running, I know that I am that close to do it but don't know 
what is going on.

And after spending so many hour just trying to see where the problem is , I 
have totally divert to something else, and Surprisingly it works with me. I 
have followed the following link and apply it as it is and Bang in 20 
minutes, everything was running : 
file:/sp/speedtouch-1.2-beta1/doc-linux/howto/SpeedTouch-HOWTO-en.html

I don't know why I could do it with your Howto, is it because of the nature of 
my laptop [Compaq HP Evo N800v] I don't know. But All I can see thank allot 
for you and for Gowdy who helped figure out where the problem is.
