Hello list...

Problem: mouse hangs on a 5m USB extension cord
there's unfortunately no way to get it shorter :-(
friend says 5m is over USB specs - but why do they produce and sell
such a thing then?
anyway, mouse works fine but floods syslog with messages above

Question: how to get rid of these messages, as long as it works
I dont care... :-)

Thanks for any hint,
Martin
