Hi there,

Has anyone managed to get one of these devices to work under Linux? I
picked up the 16Mb version from a store today, and usb-storage doesn't
seem to like it. lsusb reports the device as:

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 090a:1a80 Trumpion Microelectronics, Inc.

What little else information I have is:

P: Vendor=090a ProdID=1a80 Rev= 1.00
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=100mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 4 Cls=08(stor.) Sub=06 Prot=50 Driver=(none)

I'm using Gentoo, with the 2.4.20-r5 kernel. I've had to add an entry
into the unusual devices file just to get this little information, as
the system would get stuck trying to initialise the usb-storage module.
As the device reported itself as having Trumpion as the vendor, I used
one of the mp3 player's unusual device entries.

Regards,

  David
