The contents of /proc/bus/usb/devices for the storage device look reasonable for a linux-usb mass storage device and I would expect it to work OK. However, the log from attempting to mount it suggests otherwise, right? You didn't say so... I looked at the Linux-USB devices database at http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/index.php and searched for "apacer". It lists working devices (green check mark) for Apacer Disc Steno CP100, Apacer Mega Steno, Apacer Handy Drive. Apacer Handy Steno 2.0 is not listed.
