I would try kernel 2.6.x. I have yet to try it myself, so I can't offer any experiences, but as soon as I get enough time to spare I plan to move to that kernel. However, 2.6 is still a test release. I've no confidence in 2.4.x kernels for USB, and the 2.5.69 kernel that I've been running on my desktop machine for the past couple of months has been disappointing. Although I haven't been able to spend a lot of time on it, so far I haven't even been able to get my SanDisk card reader to hotplug reliably with 2.5.69 and there are filesystem issues that you don't want to know about. 73, Ged. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
