Hi folks
in the 2.6.0-test6 kernel (and previous) I cannot get my USB hard drive
mounted. When switched on: I get a whole bunch of stuff:

usb-storage: scsi cmd done, result=0x0
usb-storage: *** thread sleeping.
Vendor: TOSHIBA Model: MK4018GAS Rev: Q1.0
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
usb-storage: queuecommand called
usb-storage: *** thread awakened.
usb-storage: Bad target number (1:0)
usb-storage: scsi cmd done, result=0x40000
usb-storage: *** thread sleeping.
usb-storage: queuecommand called
usb-storage: *** thread awakened.
usb-storage: Bad target number (2:0)
usb-storage: scsi cmd done, result=0x40000

and also in proc it gets identified correctly:
 cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: TOSHIBA Model: MK4018GAS Rev: Q1.0
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
root(eno,etc)#

But when I want to mount it:
mount /mnt/usbhd
mount: device /dev/sda1 does not exists
root(eno,etc)#
The corresponding line in the fstab is:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbhd ext3 noauto,user 0 0

with the 2.4.20 kernel it works like a smart.

Any pointers?

greetings
