I recieved a Soundblaster MP3+ (external USB soundcard) as a gift some weeks ago,
but have had no luck getting it to work on my Best 3150 notebook. This is not a
new computer, it's a 433Mhz from somewhere around 1999. I'm using SuSE 8,2,
and when I plug the soundcard in, the hotplug-agent goes mad and
starts a lot of hotplugd-processes. It makes the machine unusable, so I have
disabled the hotplug agent.
What seems to be happening is that the hub keeps connecting and disconnecting
it all the time. The blue LED on the soundcard is blinking.
I suspect this to be a bug with the USB-controller on this machine, as the supplied
windows drivers won't work either. Here is a 'lspci -vvx' describing my usb controller.

I hoped that if I upgraded the kernel that it may work, but no luck there either.
I have tried 2.2.20, 2.2.21, 2.5.75, 2.6.0-test3 and 2.6.0-test4
I really want this soundcard to work, so I hope that there are someone out there
that can help me with this! I have lots more of debugging-info, that I can post
when needed.
