I'm trying to use a DYMO LabelWriter 310 on Linux 2.4.22. When I plug it in I get:
Oct 3 15:36:24 m79 vmunix: hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-1, assigned address 5
Oct 3 15:36:24 m79 vmunix: usb.c: USB device 5 (vend/prod 0x922/0x9) is not claimed by any active driver.
Another person on this list having this problem said it was told to load the printer module manually, and got it working. That makes no difference for me. I get the same message when connecting, no device file plops up in my devfs and if I create one with "mknod /dev/usblp0 c 180 0" the CUPS test page printing says "Unable to open USB device "usb:/dev/usblp0": No such device". What should I do?
