Hrm... I tried that patch, and with some help got it to compile. Unfortunately either it's not really working, or else the damn box still isn't reporting itself properly. Something's different, instead of getting a bunch of ????? in /proc/scsi/scsi, I get blanks. I think I've found the patch you mention, and I'll try that one.
