i active use usb on my linux box primary function - syncronisation palmos devices. i do ~30 syncronisations per day, several with old palmos devices via ftdi serial-usb converter, others direct via usb
several days i use long cable (~10 meter) to connect passive usb hub and every day with it i get one ore more messages about exeption in khubd process. i get this error message on two motherboard (via chipset with both uchi and usb-uhci drivers and serverworks chipset with usb-ohci driver). if i use this hub direct connected to computer - all work stable i use lastest stable kernel with sgi xfs path (2.4.22-xfs). i think trouble is in bad error (for example data corruption) processing in linux usb subsystem can everybody help me? ps: may be i need mail to -devel list? pps: sorry, my english is very bad ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
