Hi all, I have a HP v90 56k USB modem and I am using redhat 8.0. It loads everything for USB stuff (uhci, hid, acm) but still no way to talk to the modem. I used minicom and configured it to use /dev/usb/ttyUSB0 and it says no such device. Then I created a /dev/usb/ttyACM0 (it was not created automatically) and used it but nothing. So can someone help me : is it a driver problem (acm) or something else? Or does this modem need a specific driver? If so, where can I find it?
