Hi all, I'm trying to program a linux usb driver for a very simple device. My question is that when I plug in the device and use "/proc/bus/usb/devices" I get as Vendor ID=0000 and ProdID=0000. This power switch is premanufactured so I believe it should have one preset. I am right in assuming every device has a vendor ID and product ID "burned" onto the hardware right???
