I'm working on developing open source software for robotics vision, and would like to know: what is the "best" USB-base camera under Linux?
My "best" I mean:
- reliable
- supported under Video4Linux
- at least "good" quality at small to medium image sizes (not necessarily bigger than 200x400): clear with good colors
- at least a few (5-20) frames a second
- not too expensive (less than $100 USD)
- not too fragile
- standard camera mount (of some kind)
- open source drivers
Thanks for any pointers or data points!
