Scouring the web, I see almost no mention of linux support for Sony's Photo Printers. This class of usb connected dye-sublimation printers makes marvelous photos (under windows - but who cares for that?!)
I got past the usb setup, and on RH8, lpr accepts the print job and sends it to the printer. Lights flash and it beeps a few times, and then... nothing. I can send debug output, but at this point I 'm completely stuck with no clues about what driver I need. (I've only tried hpijs) Someone on the gimp-print list mentioned the driver was like Olympus'. Any progress on that? Any developers I can work with on this? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
