Hello,

I tried to read a memory stick which is inserted in a Sony video camera.
This camera is connected to my computer with a USB cable to my USB 2.0
port. The camera shows up in 'lsusb', but in
/dev/scsi/host1/bus0/target0/lun0/ I only see 'disk' and 'generic' (host0
is for ide-scsi). So there seem to be no partitions to mount.
When unplugging the cable and then replugging it, I get a new host,
host2, and host1 also still shows up. I get an extra host every time I
replug the cable (but 'disk' and ;general' only exists in the last one
created.
Using the verbose messaging, I get this in /var/log/messages:

This works fine on the same computer with Knoppix (kernel 2.4.?). Note
that it's a 4MB memorystick, and write-protect is actually on.
Any ideas what's wrong?

Regards,

Jeroen.
