Hello: I have a Compucable USB KVM switch connected to a Fedora Core 1 Linux box (running 2.4.22-2135.nptl) and windows xp box. I have a MS wireless optical desktop (keyboard + mouse) attached to the KVM.
I have tried a variety of kernels (including 2.6). Most kernels detect the MS keyboard/mouse when connected directly to the USB port (it starts Microsoft Wireless Networking). When I get Linux to recognize the keyboard/mouse connected to the KVM switch (after connecting/disconnecting several times), it does not recognize it on switching to Windows and back. dmesg output shows "connect-debounce failed" and "port 1" disabled.
