I'd like to use my Premier DC-4311 digital camera under Linux, but it appears to hang usb-storage completely.
It works out of the box with windows XP which recognizes it as a removable drive called: "Digital camera 4MP859 USB device".
I have a Creative Nomad Muvo (64MB usb dongle with mp3 player) which works perfectly, execpt if the camera has been plugged in. Then I need to reboot to make usb-storage work again (I can't rmmod it, "ERROR: Module usb_storage is in use").
Does the camera need an entry in unusual_devs.h or something like that? How do I find out what to put there?
I'm using kernel 2.6.1-rc1, earlier kernels doesn't make it better.
