Hi,

is anyone working on a USB over ethernet driver combo? This could make USB
devices connected to machine A available on machine B. I talked to Digi but
they have no plans to provide Linux drivers for their AnywhereUSB products
or even open their APIs.

What would be needed:

- a OHCI/UHCI driver on the client side providing USB chipset functionality
to USB device drivers like usbserial, usbstorage etc.
- this driver would talk to its counterpart on the machine that has the
  actual USB devices attached.

Something like nbd for USB :-)
