Hi
My M-Audio Audiophile USB works (more or less) with Linux 2.4.24 and Alsa 1.0.1
(see http://www.infres.enst.fr/~pook/configs/audiophile_usb.html for details)
but I have no luck at all with Linux 2.6.1. Lsusb doesn't even show the
device. The error message in kern.log is:

I guess that my new (expensive) box doesn't follow the USB Audio Device
Class Definition. Is there any code to work around this? Are there
patches that I can apply to my Linux 2.6 kernel or should I just stick
with Linux 2.4 for a bit longer?
