Hello

I try to install a USB Serial Port from Moschip with a MCS7720 Chip but it
does not realy work!
So what I have done:
I use SuSE-Linux 9.0 with the kernel 2.4.21-144-default.
Other USB-Device like USB-Memorystick works.
So when I insert the cable into the USB I see the following message a the
/var/log/message:

Feb 12 16:36:03 panmz1 kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:1d.0-1, assigned
address 7
Feb 12 16:36:03 panmz1 kernel: usb.c: USB device 7 (vend/prod 0x9710/0x7720)
is not claimed by any active driver.

And it does not configurate the UBS-Device like ttyUSB0 or ttyUSB1.
Then I have tried this:
        insmod usbserial vendor=0x9710 product=0x7720
And in messagefile I saw this now:
Feb 12 16:38:40 panmz1 kernel: usb.c: registered new driver serial
Feb 12 16:38:40 panmz1 kernel: usbserial.c: USB Serial support registered for
Generic
Feb 12 16:38:40 panmz1 kernel: usbserial.c: Generic converter detected
Feb 12 16:38:40 panmz1 kernel: usbserial.c: Generic converter now attached to
ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs)
Feb 12 16:38:40 panmz1 kernel: usbserial.c: Generic converter now attached to
ttyUSB1 (or usb/tts/1 for devfs)
Feb 12 16:38:40 panmz1 kernel: usbserial.c: USB Serial Driver core v1.4

Now I could open the device but I could not use them.
What it could be?
