Since none of the earlier patches worked, try this one. I expect it will
get farther than the others did, even if it doesn't work totally.
Even on your working system, the dmesg lines that say:
usb.c: error getting string descriptor 0 (error=-75)
indicate that the mouse doesn't work perfectly.
