I am looking for the best flavor of linux to use like windows. I want the hardware drivers to configure without having to stand on my head.
I was running Slackware and it worked well on the internet and with the email. No virus problems. The Applications were excellent and Comparable to Microsoft office. The problem was that sound video and printer drivers would not configure properly. I am looking for a Linux flavor, that would configure the printer, sound and video better. I am looking for an alternative to Windows that a common user could use without problems. Some of the flavors I have heard of are Red Hat, Debian, SuSe, and SlackWare, respectfully. craig Hertel ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
