not sure if I told you before, but you might be interested in
looking at libhid which has a userland cross platform support
for HID devices.

It still under development, but should be complete soon.

Have a look at:
- project website: https://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/libhid
- doc and presentation : http://www.ghz.cc/~clepple/libhid/doc/html/
- mailing list : https://ailab.ch/mailman/listinfo/libhid

If you're interested in:
- subscribe to the ml,
- send us an "lsusb -vvv" excerpt output,
- I'll send you cvs info to checkout and test the
dump tree (HID info) function.

hi all,

has anyone gotten any further information on interfacing to this
device? i'd like to try to use it for a project.

it was stated that it was a HID device, has anyone actually gotten
data from it or talked to it by whatever means the HID protocol
provides?

     thanks,
     rob
