Hotplugging does not seem to be working at all, and it would be great to have it, this is a notebook.
I've just compiled a new 2.6.4 kernel and getting a couple of errors at bootup including
sys/class/usb/lp0/bNumConfigurations.... and Mounting local filesystem: mount fs type supermount not supported by kernel
Have I done something wrong in compiling the kernel, left out a module or used an incorrect module? Is there a fix?
I've run lsmod and put output at bottom.
My other problem is that I can not even unhook the external floppy drive or Linux will not boot, looking for non existant disks! Is there an easy way to get it to check but continue if they are not present?
If in fact this is the wrong place to ask this stuf perhaps tell me where to ask?
