Hi all,
I use a little box in which a 120Go IDE hard drive is plugged, connected
through USB2 to my Mandrake 10.0 box (came with kernel 2.6.3). I can
mount the disk without any problem, and I can read everything ok.
But problems arise when I try to write on it, especially big files,
after a while the kernel reports scsi problems and the drive gets
unmounted. Sometimes it also happens when reading big files, but the
reproducable case is the case where I try to write on it.
The filesystem on the drive itself is ok, I can write files on it if I
use it on another system at work (Windows). Any idea of what may be
going wrong?
Thanks,
