Hi all, I have a question concerning support of the "USB video streaming" function available on some digital camcorders, in my case Sony dcr trv19. Is there any support for this under Linux? I run SuSE with 2.4.20 kernel and when attempting to connect the camcorder, I just get messages like this in the syslog. Apr 16 17:26:30 localhost kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-2, assigned address 8 Apr 16 17:26:30 localhost kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 2, frame# 836 Apr 16 17:26:31 localhost kernel: usb.c: USB device not responding, giving up (error=-75) Apr 16 17:26:31 localhost kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-2, assigned address 9 Apr 16 17:26:31 localhost kernel: usb.c: USB device not responding, giving up (e The camera is not even displayed by lsusb. I presently do not have firewire hardware and until I buy it I wanted to use USB, but it seems not to work at all. Is there some support perhaps in newer kernels?
(I succesfully use digital still camera with USB mas storage driver and other USB1.1 and USB2.0 devices, so basically USB configuration seems to be OK on the machine.)
