Hello I've got a problem here. As I know there is a patch for kernel 2.4.22 and futher which delays the detection of rootfs until USB has setup storage driver: www.lammerts.org/software/kernelpatches/boot-usb.patch
However when I tried to apply that patch to 2.6.6 kernel it did not succeded, and as I tried to modify the kernel source to create something similar to patch modification I'd gone nowhere - kernel still didn't boot from USB. Maybe someone knows how to set it up on 2.6.x? Thanks Tomasz Mloduchowski qdot%safe-mail.net, tomek%cft.edu.pl ### <Deek> nopcode: No, it isn't.
