That quote is _wrong_. The driver was marked BROKEN by me because the code is broken, not just because of a compiler warning. The driver can easily oops the system if the user is not very careful. And the latest patch from the author still has the same problem, but he now knows how to fix it, and hopefully soon will. As to why you can not select it, I do not know, it works here for me.
