Hi,
        I've recently bought a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for a set-top box
I've been setting up (this is an old IBM T20 laptop which I've plugged
into the TV for use as a DVD player). Since it was going to be a
significant distance between the laptop and where people would sit,
wireless seemed the most practical way to go.

At the moment, I have the keyboard working nicely, and now for once,
I'm able to sit back and use the machine... The mouse also appears to
work, I'm able to move the cursor, but mouse clicks are not recognised.
~ I see the activity LED on the receiver flash when the button is
pressed/released, but no acknowledgement from the laptop.

A quick google search revealed that it appears these devices differ
from the usual HID specification. I managed to find a guide[1] on how
to get these mice to work, however I think it would be best if some
support for this "special case" was included in the main Linux-USB HID
support.

The machine itself, is running Gentoo Linux 1.4 with kernel
2.6.5-gentoo-r1.

Is it possible that someone could look into this issue at some point?
Reguards,
