Hello everyone: The kernel version is 2.6.7-rc3. I was getting filesystem errors, so I dropped back to just this:
$ dd if=/dev/sda1 of=/tmp/sda1.image dd: reading `/dev/sda1': Input/output error 52880+0 records in 52880+0 records out The full details are here including CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_DEBUG=y; let me know if more is needed: http://members.dca.net/mhoffman/usb-20040609/ I tried again with the same kernel on an OHCI controller: same result. (details above are w/ UHCI... I can get the others if necessary) It *does* work on the OHCI controller with a stock RedHat (2.4.20-blah) kernel. I've not tried the combination of UHCI vs. 2.4. This is the first time I've plugged my dig. camera into a box w/ any 2.6 kernel, so I don't know if it's ever worked. I can do the "rebuild kernel versions / binary search" thing to try and narrow it down, but I won't have the time for that until this weekend or later. Please CC me on replies.
