Hi, I have a slackware9.1/kernel-2.4.21 system with a pci usb2 controller card. I have an iMic audio device plugged in through a usb2 port. When I do: /etc/hotplug/usb.rc start (or restart) the drivers audio and snd-usb-audio are registered but I get multiple messages:
missing kernel or user mode driver usbcore missing kernel or user mode driver snd-usb-audio These modules have been built and lsmod shows that they are loaded. Usbview shows me that the device is recognized and arecord -l shows that the device is available for capture. I have tried every combination on alsamixer that I can think of but the 'recording' is null in every case. I know that the audio driver is for the speakers but when I remove it the same problem persists. Any help would be appreciated.
