Actually this solution seems to be a _little_ bit over the target. I think the correct solution would be to catch the hotplug event on the scsi layer and let it create always the same node. For my own use I wrote a shell script, which automatically creates device nodes, mountpoints and fstab entries for SCSI (that means also firewire and usb and anything else, that passes through the scsi layer) CDROMS and Disks.
