I have a Lexar Jumpshot  CF reader which worked perfectly in FC1 (kernel
2.4.22) but can't for the life of me get it to work in FC2 (kernel
2.6.6-1.427).  Initially when I plugged in the card reader I got this in
the messages file:

After some digging around I found this message which recommended the
following patch to unusual_devs.h to fix my problem

After applying the patch the CF card is now recognized, however I'm now
getting SCSI I/O errors, complaints that the partition table can't be
read and I'm unable to mount /dev/sda.  

Hopefully someone can help out with this.  I've enabled USB_DEBUG and
USB_STORAGE_DEBUG in the kernel.  Here's the relevant output from dmesg,
