In the process of testing out my PowerBook after installing a new drive (its 4-year-old IBM drive had started its death spiral, so I'd been subsisting off booting it from a FireWire drive for a couple days), I decided to put my PowerBook into suspend. However, I did this while my Toshiba PCX1100U USB cablemodem was still plugged into one of the USB ports. Upon wake-up, a line reading '<3>Badness in ohci_endpoint_disable at drivers/usb/host/ohci-hcd.c:349' appeared at the top of the display, over my framebuffer, and the cablemodem wouldn't talk anymore. Upon looking in dmesg, I saw the following:

Badness in ohci_endpoint_disable at drivers/usb/host/ohci-hcd.c:349

The driver of course is now locked, so I can't use my cablemodem again via USB until I reboot. Anyone have suggestions on any more useful information I can provide? (OHCI host controller, of course.)

I'm not on the list, so please Cc: me with replies. Thanks.
