Beware of 2.6.8.1, I'm getting scsi errors while trying to use superfloppy mode USB flash drive (VFAT). It's been reported as http://bugme.osdl.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3223 I got no problems whatsoever with all my USB sticks and 2.6.7 kernel. Just my USD 0.02.
