Not in this case, but I did have plans to go get one of those cameras 
on my next trip to town.  Its about 30 miles up the interstate to a 
Circuit City for me, and thats the best there is right now short of a 
200+ mile drive up to Pittsburg PA.  So yes, I do do my research 
before putting the key in the switch.

I do too.  The last nvidia card wound up costing me a motherboard as 
it presented shorts on the bus's as it was failing.  So now I have an 
ATI, and another bad motherboard I''m still trying to get replaced, 
difficult since my favorite dealer in Tampa went tits up in hurricane 
Charley.  No damage to the business, but it was a good excuse to run 
with the money I guess. :-(
