Hello All, I'm trying to get the IOGear usb to serial converter working under Linux (Fedora Core 2).
Everything works with the exception of writing out to the Serial port (/dev/usb/ttyUSB0) when I get the following error in /var/log/messages (no error appears to application) "usb 2-2: pl2303_write_bulk_callback - failed resubmitting write urb, error -1" My system is as follows Toshiba A70. IOGear GUC232A USB to Serial Adapter. Kernel: 2.6.8-1.521 (Fedora Core 2's latest) module: usbserial I can verify that rx works by using cat. minicom hangs while it trys to write the modem init strings out the serial port and echo hangs also. Can anyone give me any suggestions, or has this working with a similar kernel version. I'll be trying a vanilla kernel (2.6.8) next, but would rather stay with the Fedora Kernels if possible.
