I'm sorry; I read your original message too hastily and misunderstood it. I don't know exactly what the problem is here. It doesn't appear to be related to the fact that your enclosure uses the Genesys chip. According to the log messages, about 50 milliseconds after the computer reset the drive, the drive disconnected itself electronically from the USB bus. Of course that may not be what actually happened; it could easily be a problem with the PCI USB card instead that caused the disconnection. Either way, I don't know how to find the source of the problem or how to fix it. Maybe someone else can help.
