It's unfortunate that the usb-storage mailing list software doesn't make the messages available in raw text form. Even so, it's not so hard to work with if your browser supports saving as plain text rather than HTML. When I saved the page using Mozilla, the part of the page containing the patch ended up identical to the original patch file.
